Papers & Citations

Kopernio: Get pdf instantly for a paper, saves time and has in-built export options

CiteAs: Get instant citation, from papers to software and datasets

Zotero: Great citation software (personally prefer it to Endnote). Only issue is that IT has to be contacted to install it on uni computers, but that can be bypassed by installing the portable version

Other issue is limitation in library space for external documents such as pdfs, notes etc. This can be bypassed by following **this guide** (will also set up automatic pdf retrieval which is great)

Scite: See related articles and the consensus (though the latter is on an early stage)

Scholarcry: AI created flashcards of inputted text

Courses/Training

LinkedInLearning: Various online courses, used to be Linda.com

Welcome Genome Campus Courses (Paid) & Online Courses (free)

Diagrams/Graphs

Draw.io: Good for general flowcharts/diagrams, can basically make anything graphable

Biorender: Good for biology-focused diagrams. Free version diagrams cannot be used in journals
